AI-Use Disclosure

This disclosure covers everything I create and offer through: my website, my podcast, my Substack publication, my social channels, and the programs and offerings themselves.

Transparency is part of leadership performance, and it would be strange to talk and write about honesty and self-awareness and then be silent or vague about how I do my work, create my content, and develop my service offerings. Transparency is also important to who I am as a storyteller using my own stories to teach. And because the rise of AI use has created so many questions around content transparency, I want to be clear about how AI fits into what I create, publish, and offer, and, more importantly, how it does not.

I'll start there: how AI does not fit into my work. Nothing about my content or offerings is fake, borrowed, or manufactured. Every story I tell is mine directly, or observed in others, drawn from memory, journals, and lived experience. No tool generates a story, an experience, or an understanding I did not have, or a belief I do not hold. The HEAL Framework™ and Leader Rewired™ are mine, built over decades of my life’s experiences, and none of it is generated by AI or an AI-assisted tool.

As I regularly disclose in relation to my writing, some names have been changed, details have been limited, or details have been modified to protect privacy. Events may have been omitted, compressed, or expanded, and any dialogue is recreated using journal entries, text messages, and memory. None of this is the result of using AI; rather, it is my decision based on the nature of the pieces I am writing.

Where AI supports the work.

Managing a body of work this broad, with weekly anchor articles and their full campaigns, alternating podcast episodes and their own production packages, ongoing contributor pieces, an evolving speaking platform, and a major product launch all moving at once, takes coordination, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness that would be hard to sustain alone as a human being. I would need an enormous team to help me manage all of my work. This is where AI earns its place, keeping that pace and complexity aligned without doing my thinking for me.

I use Claude, an AI assistant, the way I trained junior staff to write forensic-caliber reports in my former career. I give direction using an elaborate set of documents that house my thoughts, ideas, stories, and prior content; then I edit line by line, and I leave comments telling it exactly what to fix and why. Claude also helps me incorporate keywords for SEO and AI-search purposes across that work. That is true whether Claude is helping draft an anchor Substack article, or the full campaign of content that grows out of it each week (the LinkedIn posts, Substack Notes, YouTube Shorts, subscriber emails, and pull quote graphics that carry that article's ideas across platforms), or the parallel production package that goes out the following week when a new podcast episode publishes. For the podcast specifically, I also use Riverside's built-in AI features for transcription, editing, and clip suggestions before that raw material becomes the production package Claude and I build from it. I use Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT for research and competitive landscape work, looking at what already exists in the public domain outside my own writing and offerings; this is also how I stress-tested the name Leader Rewired™ against the broader coaching and leadership field. I use VidIQ and Ubersuggest for SEO, which sometimes shapes a title, description, or thumbnail suggestion, though thumbnails are more often built by my production team in Canva. Day-to-day, I run the business using standard productivity tools like Trello, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365, none of which generate the content you read or the offerings I provide.

When it has to fully represent me.

Some decisions carry more weight than others. Building Leader Rewired™ – its name, much of its language, and the direction behind its visual identity – was one of them, and that process ran through four inputs working together, not one. Claude drafted and refined language under my direct edits and comments. Copilot and ChatGPT stress-tested the name and positioning against the broader coaching and leadership field. Evolve AI, a decision-support tool built around my own specific way of working and thinking, checked that the direction still sounded and felt like me. The visual identity itself, what you actually see, was then built by my team and me in Canva. I made the final call on every part of it, as I always do.

What never changes.

Nothing publishes under my name that I have not personally read, edited, and approved. I am the creator and editor of record on every piece, every time.

Why this page exists.

Regulations like Article 50 of the EU AI Act are pushing for clearer disclosure of AI-assisted content, and I support the goal of helping people understand how the content they consume is created. Before I left my forensic career, I was also an expert in operationalizing corporate compliance programs, including in the ESG space, where the EU has long led. Transparency requirements like this are not new to me, nor are they a reaction to tools like Claude. They reflect the same principle I practiced for decades and now apply to my own work. I would rather meet the spirit of that standard by choice, by clearly explaining my process, than focus on where disclosure requirements begin or end. Trust is the foundation of my work, and you deserve to know how the words and teachings in front of you came to be.

This page will be updated as my tools and workflow change. Last updated: August 26, 2026
